Hello. I was born and raised in Costa Rica, Central America. Costa Rica is a beautiful country with volcanos, beaches, and rainforests.
At seventeen my childhood dream came true. I spent one year in training to become a flight attendant then was hired by Lacsa, the airline of Costa Rica. That started my venture in traveling and learning about new cultures. I fell in love with New York, Miami, and Los Angeles. After many years of marriage, I am really enjoying my life as a single mother with two wonderful children.
Over the years I have traveled to over thirty-four countries in five continents and seen how different and equal we all are. I am always impressed by the essence of the human spirit.
My best friend, Lisa called me to come to Arkansas. She was producing a show and needed my help. I came to Arkansas and felt right at home. It took me back to my roots… the open spaces, the farm animals, and friendly people.
My heart has always been in the community. I believe we can reach a lot of people through the TV Show and help them understand the richness and diversity of our cultures. If Lisa and I can respect and admire each other then two different cultures can do the same. “Asi Asi…Just Like That!” will create a forum to help people in Arkansas understand the Latin culture.

In his Social Edge blog, NYU Professor Paul Light writes: "The challenge is not to define social entrepreneurship so broadly that it becomes just another word that gets bandied about in funding proposals and niche building. Other terms such as innovation have gone that route, and may never be rescued from over-use. At the same time, social entrepreneurship should not be defined so narrowly that it becomes the province of the special few that crowd out potential support and assistance for individuals and entities that are just as special, but less well known."
